The Cleanthous Foundation was established in 2023 by Costas Cleanthous. Costas Cleanthous was born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus. In 2009, he co-founded XM, an international online brokerage, trading and investment company. Parallel to its financial activities, XM runs a very active Corporate Social Responsibility program, whose activities have helped make a positive impact on the quality of life of countless people around the globe.
A series of private initiatives by Costas Cleanthous, mainly focused on the provision of access to high-level medical treatment and healthcare facilities for children with serious health problems, paved the way for the establishment of The Cleanthous Foundation, as a means for reaching and helping more people, and initiating change in the local community in a meaningful and high-impact way.
Cleanthous Foundation, has pledged over €10 million to establish a paediatric oncology clinic in Cyprus. This substantial investment, which was announced by the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, promises to revolutionise paediatric healthcare across the region. Negotiations are currently in their final stages with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health.
