“Our first donation in 2023 continued our support for Sistema Cyprus, a social-orchestra and choir for children and young people in need. We surprised young musicians with useful gifts, to help develop their musical journey.

When children and teachers alike gathered to enjoy a New Year’s cake, or Vasilopita, there were new music stands and literature donated by XM to unwrap! Every child also received a reusable water bottle, a meaningful gift that encourages the preservation of nature.

Sistema Cyprus offers free lessons, instruments, and materials to make quality music education accessible to disadvantaged children. However, there’s more to it than music classes with experienced professionals. These lessons contribute to crucial cognitive skills and socialisation, offer mental benefits, as well as helping students feel included in society, allowing them to reach their full potential by taking part in various events.

Musical talent is everywhere but opportunity isn’t. At XM, we believe that every child has the right to a musical education. That’s why we’ve been sponsoring Sistema Cyprus since 2020, to ensure that more underprivileged children can discover and develop their talents.

Want to support equal opportunities? You can learn more about the Sistema project at their website or help by making a donation here.”
